Key Responsibilities • Develop detailed lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments for routine and critical lifts. • Review engineering drawings, load calculations, and crane load charts to ensure safe lifting execution. • Conduct lifting studies including crane selection, ground bearing pressure calculations, rigging configuration, and stability analysis. • Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., LOLER, OSHA, BS, ASME) and company HSE policies. • Familiar with different company standards in the middle east region. • Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and HSE departments to schedule and execute lifting activities. • Supervise critical and heavy lift operations on site. • Perform and coordinate with Third Party for lifting equipment inspections and verify certifications for cranes, rigging gear, and lifting accessories. • Lead toolbox talks and provide technical guidance to lifting supervisors, crane operators, and riggers. • Investigate lifting-related incidents and recommend corrective actions. • Participate in project planning meetings and provide expert technical advice on lifting feasibility and constructability.
